DMCA Copyright Policy

Scd168 respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its visitors to do the same. In accordance with the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), the text of which may be found on the U.S. Copyright Office website at copyright.gov, Scd168 will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement that are reported to our designated copyright agent.

1. Filing a DMCA Notice

If you believe that any material hosted on Scd168 infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notification that includes the following elements (per 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):

  • A physical or electronic signature of the rights holder or an authorized agent.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or a representative list if multiple works are involved).
  • Identification of the infringing material, including the URL where it appears on Scd168, with enough detail to allow us to locate it.
  • Your contact information, including full name, mailing address, telephone number and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or applicable law.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

2. How to Submit Your Notice

Please send your completed DMCA notice to our designated copyright agent using the contact information below. We strongly recommend using email so we can acknowledge receipt quickly.

3. What Happens After You File a Notice

Once we receive a valid DMCA notice we will:

  • Acknowledge receipt of the notice by email.
  • Promptly review the identified material and the claim.
  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content where appropriate.
  • Notify the user who submitted the affected content, including a copy of the original complaint where required by law.

4. Counter-Notification

If you believe that the material you posted was removed (or to which access was disabled) by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with us. The counter-notification must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location where it appeared before removal.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address, telephone number and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or the district where your address is located) and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.

We will forward the counter-notification to the original complainant and may restore the removed material at our discretion, in accordance with applicable law.

5. Repeat Infringers

Scd168 reserves the right to restrict or terminate access for users who are found to be repeat infringers, and to remove or refuse to post content from any user that we believe is infringing the rights of others.

6. Misrepresentations

Be aware that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be subject to liability for damages. Please make sure your claim is accurate before submitting.
